Nekisha-Michelle Bakre is living her wildest dreams despite becoming a mother at only fourteen years old and struggling with bouts of physical and emotional abuse, depression and anxiety. She reinvented her mind, emotions and self-esteem and is boldly empowering other women to do the same through her speaking, consulting and her internationally known book, Breaking Invisible Chains - Moving From Pain To Power And Purpose.
Nekisha received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Virginia State University and her Masters Degree in Social Work Administration from The University of Cincinnati. As a Social Worker, she devoted over ten years combined working in child protective services, therapeutic foster care, mental health and program development for women and children.
A woman of many ambitions and gifts, Nekisha is the President and CEO of Living Vivaciously Consulting, a full-service personal and professional development consulting company.
Nekisha-Michelle is the visionary and lead facilitator of her retreat and seminar SPA-JAMA W.O.R.K.S. (Women Overcoming Relationships that Kill the Spirit).
For five years, this vibrant soul was also an independent consultant and leader with Warm Spirit, a self-care and well-being company. As a result of leading an organization of women business owners in Warm Spirit, Nekisha earned a spot as a top 20 producer and earner in 2004. She was a Shining Star in top recruiting in 2003, 2004 and 2005. She was also honored as "Consultant of the Year 2004" by her national leader and recognized for being a chief pioneer for sharing the Warm Spirit product and business opportunity throughout Ohio.
Nekisha now focuses her attention on skin care and color cosmetics with Beauticontrol.
Nekisha has been featured on Another Look television program and interviewed on many talk radio programs, most recently Voice America Web Business Channel and The Ronnie Duncan Morning Show.
Nekisha is a member of National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) , Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. (AKA), Consortium of African American Organizations (CAAO), Lakewood Church, Houston, Texas and the Mocha Moms Club.
As an expert and driving force in women's empowerment, Nekisha has a spiritual mandate and passionate mission to provide inspiration, strategies, and direction for women wanting to end the cycle of struggle in the mind, relationships, finances and spirit.
