C.J. Brooks and M. Holloway are two women who are making a difference in their lives as well as the lives of others by sharing their time and energy.

M. Holloway was reared by the loving parents of 5 children in Columbus, Georgia where she was a vibrant member of the First African Baptist Church for the first 21 years of her life, educated in the Columbus, GA public school system, and after completing her schooling in Columbus University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she settled in Washington, D.C. with employment with the General Services Administration (G.S.A.). Mary Holloway shared her talents there for 34 plus years and happily retired in January 30, 2005.

She was a member of the Metropolitan Baptist Church for over 27 years as a member of the Senior Choir Music Ministry, Pastor’s Partners and the Choral Society. While Holloway’s plans for the near future is to open a day spa that will cater to queen-sized women (but will be open to all), she also plans to continue her efforts in the life saving venture of promoting the detection and prevention of Child Abuse.

The life of C.J. Brooks tells a completely different story.

C.J. was educated in the District of Columbia School System. After completing her schooling in Armstrong Adult Education Center, Keystone Job Corps Center in Drums, Pennsylvania and Strayer College in Washington, D.C. where she Majored in Criminology, Computer Science, Business Administration and English Literature, C.J. settled in employment with Computer Logic Systems, Inc. as a Data Entry Manager and is currently semi-retired as a Writer/Author and Speaker for the Fight Against Child Abuse and the Detection of the same.

Both women are dedicated to their current positions.
