Richard: I was married to Maxine for a number of years. When we first met, I never knew she was hiding so much from me. My carelessness caused me a great deal of discomfort due to Maxine's insecurities, and that's why the need to see Basics more often was becoming a habit I didn't want to break. While life for me became one big headache after another, I learned some disturbing news about Maxine that shook my world; something I'm sure no man wants to learn about the woman he loves.
